I am seeking employment and would like to grow my knowledge and expertise. My goal is to foster learning and to develop the academic and social skills of students‚ while making a positive contribution to the school through my teachings and commitment.
Cooperative Learning and Interdisciplinary Learning strategies are used along with classroom management techniques to enhance comprehension. Lesson plans are carefully planned to ensure student participation.
Each child is treated as an individual and my lesson plans cater to varying learning styles and abilities. I set realistic goals for all students and evaluate and assess students according to a rubric or formatted grading system.
My management techniques involve giving respect and receiving respect. I use positive reinforcement and feedback and communicate with students as to their progress and deficiencies as much as possible. Developing a positive learning environment and setting realistic expectations encourage students to accept responsibility for their own actions. It is important to model appropriate academics. I believe this develops self-confidence and a sense of worth and respect for others. |
