Primary Purpose:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences
and build their confidence in written and spoken English language to help
them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional and social growth. Enable
students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in
society.

Major Responsibilities and Duties as an English language teacher:

1. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in
student’s learning styles.
2. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies,
activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the
learning styles and needs of students.
3. Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to
plan instructional activities.
4. Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
5.Help students analyze and improve their pronunciation and accent.
6. Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through
formal and informal testing.
7. Develop different methods to make it easy for students to learn and
improve their language and communication skills.
8. Organize workshops for students to develop their skills in written and spoken
English language.
9. Understand the level of each and every student and bring them to a satisfactory
level so it can be developed further.
