Job Summary:
As a Hardware/FPGA Design Engineer you will be part of a dynamic‚ talented and highly motivated team that implements leading edge‚ high performance broadband wireless products. If qualified‚ your responsibilities will include specification development‚ design‚ test‚ analysis‚ and documentation of state of the art digital and analog communication systems‚ subsystems and assemblies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ year's relevant experience in the electronics industry. 5+ year's digital and/or analog circuit design experience. For FPGAs‚ experience using VHDL (preferred) or Verilog‚ behavioral and RTL design‚ simulation‚ and synthesis. Experience in the development of ATM‚ SONET / SDH‚ PDH‚ Ethernet Network Interfaces‚ Multi-Gigabit SERDES‚ multiplexers and switches is a major plus. Good written and verbal English communication skills are a must.
Experience:
Experience with digital and/or analog hardware design at the PCB level with an understanding of the physical implementation of designs. Debug of designs in the laboratory using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. For FPGAs‚ development of test benches for design verification. Knowledge of telecommunications systems and protocols desired. Key success factors: self-motivation and the adaptability to perform a wide range of tasks.
