Introduction to Nokia Academy
Nokia Academy is an integrated program designed to develop the competencies of the retail
reps who sell Nokia products & services at point-of-purchase (POP)‚ as well as to
systematically evaluate and develop the competencies of Nokia Field Force and Nokia
Academy trainers. This is to:
  • Deliver shopper satisfaction through personalized experiences designed to meet the
  • shopper's specific needs‚ as 72% of shoppers decide which handset to purchase at
    POP.
  • Connect these retail reps to Nokia‚ making sure that they are motivated to
  • recommend and sell Nokia products & services and able to deliver experiences which
    meet shoppers' needs‚ as 53% of shoppers are impacted by sales reps
  • Create a sustainable competitive advantage for Nokia with our FF in terms of
  • competency and motivation allowing them to focus efforts on retail outlets that have
    highest volume/value sales opportunity.
  • Deliver value to channel partners through tailored programs that increase the
  • competency and proficiency of their retail reps to sell Nokia products & services.
    Function description / Purpose
    As a Nokia Academy Trainer (level B) you will use your training and presentation skills to
    advise our retail representatives / Field Force and promoters on how to sell Nokia's products
    and services.
    Geographical radius
    You will deliver training in your country of residence.
    Reports to
    You will report to the Trainer Manager of your organization.
    Tasks
    1. Deliver training
    1.1. you provide training sessions to level C trainers‚ FF and promoters
    1.2. You provide product‚ sales and potentially other soft skills trainings to retail
    representatives. During training sessions‚ you teach retail reps how they can use
    their Nokia knowledge to help the client find the product which suits their needs.
    1.3. You make your training sessions interesting and appealing by sharing relevant
    experiences and examples.
    1.4. You provide hands-on exercises to increase the learning yield.
    1.5. You adapt the exercises and the activities to maximize the learning yield.
    1.6. You encourage the learners by giving them feedback on their progress.
    2. Represent Nokia during your assignments
    2.1. you embody Nokia values throughout your actions
    2.2. you comply with Nokia guidelines
    3. Perform administrative tasks
    3.1. you collect and dispatch training documents

    Experience gained / individual portfolio
    The person we are looking for has a minimum of 2-3 years of training experience. He/she has
    a broad experience in blended training methods. He/she works or has worked in the
    telecommunications sector. Having worked in a retail shop as a sales representative is an
    advantage. Proven experience in sales training is an asset on your CV.
