Manage sourcing activities for the given group of commodities (production parts and tooling) in line with the company's business plan and procedures;
Prepare business rationale for sourcing decisions;
Analyze suppliers' cost breakdowns;
Identify gaps to Best in Class Sourcing Negotiate deliverables with supply base (YoY productivity improvements‚ cost reductions);
Manage tooling and parts purchase orders and contracts for the local supply base;
Negotiate contractual terms with suppliers on behalf of the affected functions;
Monitor suppliers' performance and support in resolution of quality‚ delivery and other issues;
Manage relationship and day to day execution with suppliers and internal customers Survey market with the view to identify potential new sources and suppliers.
Requirements:
University degree
Minimum 2 years experience in Purchasing (preferably for automotive related companies)
Good PC knowledge
Fluent English
Good analytical and communication capability; structured and fact-based approach; self confidence; ability to work under stress; self and process discipline; process improvement philosophy; good team player
