Install hardware and software on site
Configure and tune the system to meet specific customer needs
Work closely with customers to determine requirements and implementation strategies
Write customer interfaces to various types of telecom devices
Write custom interfaces to various types of data communications equipment
Complete program documentation including customer notebook‚ design‚ and user documentation
Provide internal technical expertise to customer support and development teams as needed
Gather and compile data and statistics for issues worked for inclusion in metrics and documentation
Educational Requirements:
Degreed engineer in Telecommunications and Networks‚ Computer Science or related field.
Relevant Experience and other Requirements:
Fluent verbal and written English is a must
Strong analytical skills
Experience in telecom and IT
Experience of work with different software architectures
Good knowledge of Databases
Knowledge of Java SE and Java EE
Network Protocols‚ SNMP
Knowledge of Linux system administration‚ Shell scripting
Windows 2003/2008 Server
Experience in the following areas is a plus:
OSS/BSS solutions
Network Management
Software and hardware clusters
Oracle Database‚ RAC‚ and SQL
SUN Solaris Administration
