Title: Senior RnD Engineer for Supercapacitor Development Department: SEMCO Job Summary: Supercapacitor Development Requirements: Education: Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Material Science‚ Nanotechnology‚ Electronics Engineering‚ Chemical Engineering‚ or Physics Experience: Experience in supercapacitor research and development Experience in theoretical modeling Background in electrochemistry‚ material science‚ or battery manufacturing. Previous experience in theoretical modeling of supercapacitors is preferred Experience with carbon materials (such as activated carbons‚ carbon blacks‚ graphite‚ graphene‚ and carbon nanotubes)
Responsibilities and Duties: To establish the theoretical models of supercapacitor / ultracapacitor systems To develop theoretical models to predict key performance parameters of EDLCs (electric double layer capacitors) by incorporating characteristics of component raw materials (such as activated carbon and other carbon materials)To investigate basic mechanisms which govern capacitance and resistance in new carbon materials To develop the theoretical models ofelectrochemical phenomena relevant to supercapacitor performance which can be used to suggest innovative ideas and concepts for supercapacitor development To doexperimental research to develop the understanding of the mechanisms responsible for supercapacitor-working performance To analyze characteristics of supercapacitor failure modes and electrochemical performance
